Tuning / Remap

Should I get my bike tuned?

  • Most bikes don't require remap, reflash, or tuners like Power Commander, however, we do recommend it for some European bikes like 2019-on BMW S1000RR and Ducati V4. More details are available in the description of each model.

How's the HP gain is measured?

  • We have our own dyno and we always use the same bike, settings, fuel and temperature conditions to provide reliable results. All number are achieved without tuning the ECU

Will I get the same HP gains described?

  • You may get better results and here's why. All tests are made in Brazil where the gasoline contains 25-27% of ethanol. Ethanol has less energy efficiency than gasoline. The energy content in ethanol is 33% lower than in gasoline. This means that the engine power will be lowered when the ethanol content goes up.

Why do I hear pops and bangs from the exhaust?

  • The engine backfire on deceleration is also caused by the too lean air/fuel ratio - A lot of people think that the backfire/popping in the exhaust is caused by too rich mixture, but it's actually the other way round. They're harmeless to the engine though.
Is it road-legal?

All CS Racing Full exhausts feature the removal of the catalytic converter. Some slip-on models may keep both or remove the main catalytic converter while retaining the high-flow cat in the headers. As a result, these exhausts do not comply with European regulations and may not meet street legal requirements in certain countries.

FAQs

Please read our FAQs page to find out more.

Do I Need a Remap, Reflash, or Tuner for My Bike?

Most bikes do not require a remap, reflash, or an aftermarket tuner like a Power Commander. However, a proper tune can provide noticeable benefits, including improved throttle response and horsepower gains across most, if not all, RPM ranges.

What is the dB level?

Slip-on exhausts (with catalytic converter): Around 95-98 dB at mid-range RPM.

Full exhaust systems (without catalytic converter): Typically 100-102 dB on most bikes.

Ducati engines: Naturally louder, reaching up to 108 dB.

With dB killer installed: Noise is reduced by approximately 2-5 dB.

Does the exhaust include the bung for the O2 sensor?

Yes, all exhausts have the necessary holes for stock O2 sensors when required. If your bike does not have an O2 sensor, you can seal the hole with an oil pan plug, available online or at auto parts stores. Thread sizes may vary—feel free to ask us.

Is it homologated or compliant with Euro 4/5... regulations?

Although we ship to Europe daily, like all catless sport exhausts, ours are not homologated or certified for street use.

Is the dB Killer included? Is the dB Killer easy to remove?

Yes, the dB killer is included for all compatible models, and you can remove it using a simple allen key from the exhaust tip.

First impressions were fantastic. Packaging was nice. Wait time was frustrating but they do communicate that. Communication was fair and timely. Exhaust looked good, black cover had some imperfections I'm not a fan of but I digress. No instructions, I can fumble my way thru most things but instructions even simple ones would have been appreciated. Bolt for install would have been nice, I understand it's supposed to be the OEM one but I didn't have this bolt and had to find one to match the supplied nut a bolt and nut would have been a nice small step. Struggles with the clamp for install, doesn't seem to tighten quite enough. Sound is good, looks good. Fair for the cost. Would recommend.

From the outside this exhaust is the best looking by far. Low end it sounds like a chainsaw which sucks and it drones at commuting speeds. However, when you open your bike up this sucker screams. It does not come with any installation instructions, might be straight forward to someone smarter than me. The welds on the pipe are sturdy, but not the prettiest. Thank goodness its hidden behind that plastic bit. The inside diameter of the pipe was too small to fit over my collector and I had to flare out the flanges with some channel locks. Now if you look close on mone it is marred up some. Per their customer service my warranty should not be voided for having to "custom fit" my exhaust. Speaking of which their customer service never answered my calls and only communicated via text which made the whole installation even more infuriating. The product is in fact steel so it will rust at some point and is heavy. Also, took about 2.5 months from order placed to delivered. they estimate 60 days after processing so not too far off. Inclusion, sounds bad at low rpm, drones at mid, great at high, looks amazing, is heavy, welds are okay, fit was too tight, customer service was ehhh, and shipping was as expected. Have not tuned yet so I am sure the power gains are about what they say given it has a CAT delete. Should be $150 bucks cheaper.
