Ride: 2026 GSX-8R, purchased 7.30.26

After listening to various systems on line, reading numerous reviews, and listening to some of the sound clips out there, I settled on the CS Racing Exhaust for my bike. I wanted to keep the stock appearance, so that narrowed the field considerably. I also wanted something that wouldn't piss off the neighbors every time I cranked it or get too much attention from the local constabulary.

Unfortunately, there was no IRL unit to check out, so with fingers crossed I ordered the CS.

IT IS PERFECT! Big smiles all around at the shop when I went to pick it up (I was pressed for time and too lazy to do the install myself)--everyone was mucho impressed with it. The mechanic that did the install was behind me two days later when I wound it up and he said it sounded incredible!

Just the right decibels, doesn't kill your ears when on the highway, but the perfect growl starting around 3,500-4,000 rpm, and gets better and better as the revs go up. A little pop on shifts at high rpm (9,000+) when shifting with the clutch (but who does that--no pops when using the quick-shifter). A meaty rumble with no backfiring on downshifts.

There is also a noticeable increase in performance. CS claims 4.7 HP gain, and I believe it. Low-end grunt comes in just a little earler as well as coming into peak powerband just a litte earlier.

No tune needed for the install, but I will be getting an ECU flash when I upgrade the airbox.

Get it!! You won't go wrong! The bike was a head-turner before the install, even more so now!

Order #HI1192. Does not fit the 2024 CB500 Hornet. Correct process was applied on order using photo. Received the item which does not fit the bike. I have contacted Hauer via 3 email channels 4 times without response. The only email I received was one asking me to specify what model I had which was already fully explained in my email with order, part number, photos and description. I am now left with an expensive part I cannot use. Very disappointed and do not recommend purchasing from Hauer. You will end up with a part that doesn't work and won't receive aftersales service.

There is an annoying creaking sound where the two separate parts connect—the one facing the handlebars and the one facing the chassis. It is quite rigid, which is good, but even at setting 5 (for city riding), a slightly abrupt movement causes the top and bottom brackets to start bending! Clearly, my expectations were too high! I wonder how well this whole structure would hold up in an actual emergency situation! I have serious doubts...

This exhaust sounds amazing! It's even better without the db killer. Looks great on the Trident 660, was simple to install without instructions (youtube video @CristopherDiniz was the only one I could find) Fits with the bellypans. Very happy with it.

Love this exhaust! Sounds great through all RPMS. Takes a little longer but that's bc it's handmade. Fitment was perfect, looks killer. Bikes a whole new machine!!

Huge improvement over the stock exhaust and definitely worth the price. The deep grumble sounds amazing, and I got compliments on it the first time I took the bike out. Love the look and sound. Packaging was great, and the turnaround time was pretty decent considering it’s made to order. Very happy with it.

It was way louder than i expected. I love it very good quality. It was well packaged, very easy installation. It sure does wake the bike up!

Wow! If you are wondering about getting this, don’t be. Especially if leaving a factory exhaust set up. Better engine performance as well. 10/10. Ps I use the sound dampener and recommend it. Thank you for including it.

Bought this damper for my GSX-S 1000 and I’m honestly really happy with it. Shipping to Bahrain was pretty quick and everything arrived safely. Installation was easy and it fits the bike perfectly. Second purchase from CSRacing. Quality is absolutely mint, easy to fit, looks like it was Ducati factory designed. Best looking and sounding exhaust.

Fit perfectly and easy install. Very good looking.

I stripped the Allen wrench thread during install and wasnt using too much force. It felt like soft metal. Went back to the OEM part so I know it won't get stuck on my bike. Looked cool though.

Excellent exhaust system. It delivered exactly as promised: high-quality construction and a much more mature, deeper tone that really suits the bike.

The volume definitely increased, especially at higher RPMs, but with the dB killer installed, it stays far from obnoxious. I can still ride home through the neighborhood carefully without feeling like I’m announcing my arrival to everyone.

I haven’t done a tune or dyno run, so I can’t comment on any performance gains.
Overall, I’m very happy with the exhaust. Great quality, great sound, and exactly the result I was hoping for.

The installation was a bit of a hassle to get the 4 headers into the mid-pipe. Shipping out took some time too. Other than that, i couldnt be happier with the sound and looks!
